Villa at The Palms is a gorgeous 3 bedroom home away from home that sleeps up to 7 Guests. Available for your comfort is a master bedroom that has a king size bed with an ensuite bathroom, the other two bedrooms has a queen size bed and two twin beds respectively. *A/C and ceiling fans are in all 3 bedrooms room. *Fully Equipped Kitchen. *Wi-Fi internet access. *Secure and Gated Community.
Housekeeping services, Cooked meals, Airport transfer and other personal services are available at an additional agreed cost.
The property is 5 minutes drive from the beach.
We welcome families, groups of friends and all like-minded to our Villa at The Palms - Richmond that is located in a private, quiet and very secure gated community which is situated on the scenic North Coast of Ocho Rios - St Ann's Jamaica. Staying at this luxurious 3 bed, 2 baths Villa will allow guests full access to Richmond’s Club-house with an Infinity pool, Kiddies Park, Tennis court, Gym and a Private beach club only 5 minutes’ drive. This gated community boasts a Supermarket with a deli and pharmacy perfectly situated at the entrance.

There are a number of vibrant towns within fifteen minutes. Heading west towards Montego Bay, there are Runner Way Bay and Discovery Bay. Two Towns with an exciting day life and an even more active night life with several pubs, clubs and eateries. And heading east towards Ocho Rios which is also a fifteen-minute drive away, there is St. Ann’s Bay a vibrant market town.

Education
Sam Sharpe Teachers’ College (85km)
Sam Sharpe Teachers’ College began operations on September 29, 1975, as Granville Teachers’ College, as it was initially called. The institution was built under a joint venture of the Government of Jamaica and the World Bank and on its opening, admitted 150 students, 39 of whom were male. The college is located in Granville, St. James, approximately six kilometres from the centre of Montego Bay. Built on a hill amidst the communities of Granville, Irwin, Tucker, Pitfour and Retirement, the college, was envisioned as a catalyst of community and human development. Its main mission was to increase access to and provide opportunities in education at the tertiary level, thereby improving the quality of life of its constituents.

The University of the Commonwealth Caribbean is institutionally accredited by the University Council of Jamaica (UCJ), the official accreditation body for tertiary education in Jamaica. This accreditation positions UCC as one of only four universities, among the eighty public and private tertiary institutions that have been registered by the UCJ, to have achieved this significant and decisive accreditation status. St. Ann's Bay Hospital (5km)
St Ann’s Bay Regional Hospital is in the north-east health district of Jamaica and has been steadily upgrading its facilities throughout the last few years. Some of these upgrades have been attained through charitable donations by organisations such as the Adopt a Ward Foundation. The hospital is currently classified as a Type B hospital under the Jamaican healthcare system, but it is working toward Type A status.

Outside the capital, the public transport services aren’t as regular, or fancy. Most of us islanders use the buses, minibuses, and route taxis to get around and we’d love for you to join us!
For traveling between towns, minibuses are the way to go, and certainly make for an interesting experience. Along the way, you will see – and hear – the real Jamaica. But prepare to compete for a seat with luggage of varying sizes and contents. On longer trips, passengers almost become a community; somehow the shared experience of being so close to a complete stranger may create an unspoken bond.
Each town had a designated bus park, and although the destination stands are rarely marked, the conductor will find you. Keep your luggage close to you and be sure to check fares and destination with the driver before you board.
A “route taxi” has a designated course, pick-up, and drop-off zones. They are the cheapest and fastest way to get from place to place, and always one just around the corner. Just stick out your hand, and wave.
